    Most advanced scan/diagnostic tool I've used for cars & trucks!

    This Ancel V6 Pro has all the bells and whistles when it comes to diagnostic testing of modules, trouble codes, and active testing. For the longest time I only had a simple code reader, but this device totally blew me out of the water. Initial power on involves some activation which is simple and all the required documentation and activation codes are provided.

    This tool has so many features, and hot functions (quick tests), more than any code read that I've owned in the past.

    Here are some of the positives that I've noticed so far: nice large screen, easy to use interface and vehicle connections, ability to take pictures and video for any troubleshooting, which can be combined with the various vehicle reporting options. The screen also has a kickstand on the back which is a great feature for setting the device on the dash or console while using.

    The only negative I've found so far is with running Active Tests. In my review I was connected to a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, where I used the Auto function to scan the VIN, then made some other selections based on the options for the vehicle. After the initial setup of the vehicle I immediately went to the Active Tests function where I tried commanding the driver side window Down, then Up. It didn't work. I was able to verify "Inactive" and "Active" states by reading the data on the device for the Driver Side window switches so it seemed communication was working just fine. So I'm not 100% sure what was going on during the video making for this review. I've used this device a number of times previously and was able to use the Active Test for the same function and it worked flawlessly every time. Maybe it was something I did during the initial vehicle setup; such as selecting Chevrolet rather than GM. Not sure. It doesn't change any of my review or rating as it worked fine before and I'm guessing it's something I did wrong, not the tool.

    In summary, this tool is fantastic. It has a ton of features and I really like the update feature on the main screen. It provides the ability to update the software and load various other vehicle specific packages for diagnostic testing. I couldn't be happier and I highly recommend it!

    Works great more than I expected for the price . I would highly recommend Ancel to my friends great customer service . I ordered the X7 by mistake thank god it was out of stock . Ancel refunded my payment quickly and I was able to order the V6 pro plus . Shipping was quick got my scanner in 4 days extremely happy with my Scanner and Ancel,s superb customer service 5 stars from me thanks .
