Ancel could not have made updating the software more confusing if they tried. There are no correct instructions anywhere. First , you’re on the wrong website. Go to www.anceltech.com/download.html and select your model. You might need to create an account there, I’m not sure. Download the RAR file. Where you extract the files from the RAR it will includes the AncelAssist or whatever software they use to update the device. I wasted a huge amount of time looking for the software before discovering it is in the RAR file itself. Again, it’s like Ancel went out of their way to make this process as difficult as possible. The manual the reader comes with basically just says ‘update the software’ and everything else I found was useless. Good luck.
