Can the DS300 read the VIN automatically? What about older vehicles?
- When supported by the vehicle, the DS300 can automatically identify VIN information through the OBD interface.
- For some older vehicles, VIN auto-detection may not be available. In this case, users can manually enter the VIN or select the vehicle manually.
Important: Failure to automatically detect VIN does not necessarily mean the vehicle is unsupported. The key factor is whether the DS300 can communicate with the required control modules after the correct vehicle information is selected.
Why can someone else use a function on the same model while I cannot find it on my DS300?
