This tool is great once you figure out how to navigate menus. Good bidirectional controls available. Tested on 2016 ram 2500 (could not adjust tire pressure thresholds), 1997 gmc k3500 (had great data display for transmission diagnostics and injector cut offs). Problem at this time with the tool is that the "TPMS" menu is not available yet, the printer, oscilloscope, thermal imager, work light, bore scope are not available yet. So I don't know when the additional attachments and upgrades will be available, that's a big let down at the time of purchase. For the price compared to others it seems to still be on point with the initial product. If you don't need the extra attachments you may find the lesser models to have the same capability if the extras on the ds700 are not needed. I was ecstatic to see all transmission data for a 4l80e from a 1997 tuck. Graphs 12 pids at most on screen, records, and has freeze frame data. I really look forward in using the product and cant wait for their oscilloscope attachment to come through fingers crossed. You do not need 24/7 wifi for the product to work. No Info based subscriptions yet like the harbor freight models. Although I'm not worried about that for what I do at this time. You need to understand what CAN-BUS is to under stand Topology in its simplest form to navigate the tool or you will be baffled, a few youtube videos on the subject you should be fine if your automotive inclined.

Let me start right off the bat by saying this thing way more than what I need as a casual user. This would be right home is actual auto shop with the pros. I just use it to get a feel for what is going on with my cars before I take it for repairs so I know what to expect. It easily does that. It gives a full break down on what's happening under my automatically without me really even knowing what I'm doing.
The build quality of this seems top notch and I have no doubt with care it will last just fine even in an actual auto shop business. It comes with all the various adapter connectors one would need to make this work and was super easy to setup and start using right out of the box. I highly recommend this for anyone who is serious about auto repairs.

This is a true professional-level scan tool!

The features not only match but often exceed those of other top-name brand scanners that cost five times as much.

Pairing it with AutoAuth for FCA vehicles is relatively easy once you have an active subscription. This functionality is highly valuable in a professional automotive setting, where access to FCA's Secure Gateway modules is essential.

The topology mapping feature is extremely useful for visually diagnosing issues across multiple vehicle modules.

Live data streaming and the user interface are highly responsive, with very minimal delay between the scanner and the VCI Bluetooth module, ensuring real-time diagnostics along with very quick bluetooth paring.

The battery life is outstanding, lasting for days—sometimes up to a week or more—before requiring a recharge.

The 8MP camera is adequate, though the picture quality leaves a bit to be desired.

The included adapter kit allows connectivity to virtually all vehicles one could dream of working on.

Lastly, the device includes an onboard docking station for additional accessories, although these haven't been released yet.

While some features (such as TPMS, printer, flash light, Ancel store(?)) are not yet functioning (‘Coming Soon’), this device is #1 recommended by me to any of my fellow mechanics for diagnosing and maintaining vehicles.

+1 for the ability to email a customer/client the diagnostic report with just a few clicks, while helping maintain customer records.

I have and have used a lot of scan tools as a mechanic. From cheap HF to name brand of the truck. I have to say I'm really impressed with this thing. While like most scan tools it cant do everything, but it does alot and it does it well. Very easy to use and comes with every connector you could need. Big screen and durable case means I'm not worried about breaking it. With two years of updates out of the box I was able to program a new key to my wifes Lexus Nx in a couple of minutes. This thing is great for a shop or retired mechanic.

This scan tool is pretty great. It does bidirectional controls and can do the ECU programming. I found the navigation to be a bit clunky when compared to similar products. And the VIN auto detect/decode feature is slower than I would expect but it does get the job done. The screen is a good size and easy to read. The battery seems to last a long time as I ran this for over 8 hours in a day and it still had battery life remaining. They provide a few recharging and powering options from wall outlet to aux power outlet in the vehicles. If you're still trying to diagnose vehicle issues with just a code reader, you are missing out and this tool is for you. Overall this is a great tool and value for the money.
