EVAP SYSTEM TEST
This diagnostic tool is a game-changer, especially when working on Volvo, Freightliner, Peterbilt, and Kenworth trucks. We have all of those on our yard. All of our units are 2021 and newer. We are now empowered to self-diagnose issues and potential problems, enabling us to make some repairs ourselves confidently. Beyond cost savings, it enables me to reset/clear codes, make system adjustments so far saving us quite a bit of money. We are no longer beholden to have the local shop perform diagnosis which lately is running hundreds of dollars an hour. With a range of connectors for various models, it's a fantastic deal for big rigs, The user-friendly design and versatility make it an invaluable tool for both DIY enthusiasts and professional technicians.
This is a scanner that does it all! Considering what its capable of doing its priced very fairly! Yes, you can buy cheaper scanners, but not one that's capable of doing what this one can, its capable of working on 12v and 24v systems, OBD2, and big trucks, tractors and pretty much anything that's diesel! I've only had the chance of using it with my 2004 F-150, so it's a little advance for my current needs, but I work on a lot of vehicles so I'm sure it's going to come in handy down the road, especially since I work on tractors, front end loaders, and forklifts for a guy that's in the orange grove business. But so far, with using this on my truck it did exactly what it needed to, and I was able to find out one of my fuel injectors was bad, and that I had a misfire on cylinder 4 (of course it would be the worst one haha)
Overall, I'm very happy with it! and highly recommend to anyone that works on a wide range of vehicles.
