    Repair confirmed circuit faults using the specified wiring and connector repair methods. If a hydraulic or mechanical fault caused the symptom, replacing an electrical component alone will not resolve it.

    Choosing Compatible Replacement Parts

    Match replacement parts to the VIN, transmission identification, and applicable part number or supersession. Connector fit alone does not establish compatibility.

    GM OEM parts are one option. An aftermarket replacement should also meet the requirements of the exact application. Confirm whether the part requires programming, setup, or additional components before installation.

    Programming and Relearn After Repairs
